Topographical Chair

This chair was designed based on a material and its properties.  It is made of polystyrene that is sold in sheets.  I began studying the unique properties of this material and chose to use the flatness to my advantage.  Based on a topographical map, I decided to stack it to conform to the users body.  This created a very ergonomic and comfortable chair with a relatively hard material.
